The Process
Developed a new material that could use the same tooling structure to mold both a clear and opaque product. The greatest challenge with this design was ensuring that the material would preform when dealing with Van Der Waal forces. I executed and managed technical CAD for manufacturing, as well as created design guidelines for future iterations across multiple devices.
The Innovation
The translation of Speck’s iconic brand language created the opportunity for this design to be applied to every tier 2-3 device. Currently Speck Products best selling Tier 2-3 phone Case. Currently being sold at Walmart, Verizon, Target, Best Buy, T-Mobile, Sprint, Amazon and At&t.
